What's New In Microsoft Dynamics GP 2010?
Microsoft Dynamics GP 2010 is set to be release in May, 2010. What's New in Microsoft Dynamics GP 2010? A lot. In addition to functionalities to address specific needs around financial systems, human resources, payroll and operation management you will find new, out of the box business collaboration integrations to other Microsoft products like Microsoft Office Word, Excel and SharePoint.
- Microsoft Dynamics GP 2010 will natively include the ability email predefined messages to customers and vendors, including Purchase Orders and Invoices.
- Currently, customizations to reports require the creation of a modified Report Writer report. Now uses will be able to make these modifications in the familiar Microsoft Office Word application.
- Workflow in Microsoft Dynamics GP 2010 will no longer require Microsoft Office Sharepoint Server (MOSS) but will work with Windows Sharepoint Server included with Microsoft's server operating systems, reducing the cost to take advantage of these powerful tools.
- Microsoft Office Excel reports will now be able to capture the Pivot Table functionality. Using the Excel Report Builder, users can now choose whether to create a standard list report or a Pivot Table.
- Users now have greater Microsoft Dynamics GP homepage customization control. There are now 12 new role based dashboards. You can even add your own metrics to the homepage.
These are just a few of the exciting reasons why you should upgrade your existing Microsoft Dynamics GP server or switch to Microsoft Dynamics GP from your existing ERP software.
